Program Profile: Acute Treatment Unit and Crisis Stabilization Unit

For adults facing a mental health crisis, immediate support and compassionate care can make all the difference. Bridge House (Acute Treatment Unit) and Santa Fe House (Crisis Stabilization Unit) provide a safe and structured environment for individuals 18 and older to stabilize, heal, and regain a sense of hope.

Each person’s journey is unique, which is why the length of stay varies from just a few days to a week or more, depending on individual needs. While at Bridge House or Santa Fe House, clients receive in-house care tailored to support their recovery, including:

  • Psychiatric Care & Medication Management – Daily evaluations with access to a 30-day prescription if needed.
  • Medical Support – Basic medical services, including daily vital checks, blood testing, and access to a Family Nurse Practitioner.
  • Therapeutic SupportDaily group therapy and activities by a multidisciplinary team, individual therapy every three days, and peer recovery coaching.
  • Case Management & Discharge Planning – Focused on connecting clients with follow-up care within 7 days of discharge.
  • Spiritual SupportChaplain services offering grief counseling and spiritual well-being groups.
